I've seen many awkward conversations recently about ethnicity.

England/Britain has a culture and an ethnic heritage. The ethnicity tied to this nation's heritage, history, and culture is White. There is nothing racist about stating this fact. It's like saying it's racist to say the ethnic standard of Nigeria is Black.

As human beings, we are all made and loved equally by God. We should love and respect everyone the same.

In national policy and political discourse, it should be clear who the people of the land are and always have been: White British.

I have mixed-race children. They are of mixed ethnicity and heritage, with English blood from me and Zimbabwean blood from their mum. Their nationality is English.

Nationality and ethnicity are different things and must be recognised, acknowledged, and discussed simply.

Most countries -Dubai, Japan, Thailand, African nations - already recognise this and have policies that protect and prioritise the people of the land.

It's not radical; it's common sense.

Absurdly Counter Terrorism chief Vicky Evans claimed the decision to further charge Joshua Kerry ( he was accused of murdering Ann Widdecombe) with planning terrorism acts against Nigel Farage was due to a “ hugely intensive and complex investigation”. No it wasn’t.
Police had the photo of somebody pushing a lit incendiary device through the letterbox of Farage’s London home early last year.
But they failed to push the photo out , closed the case and it was only when the alleged killer of Ms Widdecombe was identified after her murder in July this year - 16 months later- that they put two and two together.
If counter terror and the Met had taken the attack on the Reform leader seriously would Ann Widdecombe be alive today?
A serious question. Not helped by claiming the charge was due to a “ complex and intensive” investigation.

A 25-year-old woman was abducted at gunpoint and forced into the back seat of a car.

Desperate for someone to notice, she locked eyes with two teenage boys in another vehicle and silently mouthed two words… “Help me.”

17-year-old Jamal Harris and 19-year-old Aaron Arias immediately called 911 and began following the car.

The driver realized they were behind him and started speeding up, slowing down and swerving through traffic trying to lose them. But Jamal and Aaron stayed with him, continuously updating police on where the car was going.

They knew if they lost sight of it, the woman could disappear.

Police eventually caught up, surrounded the vehicle and arrested the driver. The woman was finally safe, and later embraced the teenagers who had noticed her silent plea and refused to look away.

Jamal and Aaron were just out driving that day. But because they paid attention and kept following when it would have been easier to turn away, a kidnapped woman made it home safely.

These are the types of young people the internet should be talking about. 💙

Next week marks three years since October 7, 2023.

More than 1,250 people were murdered and 251 people were abducted — babies, children, women, elderly people, Israelis and foreign nationals.

I will never forget the Bibas family.

I will never forget the hostages.

I will never forget the families whose lives were destroyed.

And I will never forget how quickly, after October 7, so much of the world’s attention turned against Israel while people celebrated Hamas on streets around the world.

I will also never forget the innocent Palestinians suffering in Gaza. They deserve a future too.

But Hamas bears responsibility for its terrorism and for the suffering it has brought upon Palestinians. Its tunnel network, its use of civilian areas and its holding of hostages put civilians in terrible danger.

Before October 7, Israelis gave Palestinians from Gaza jobs and medical treatment.

Then Hamas brought October 7.

That distinction matters.

And I will never forget the IDF soldiers and Israeli security personnel who have paid the ultimate price since October 7.

More than 1,400 members of Israel’s security forces have fallen, with thousands more wounded during this war and the fighting on multiple fronts, including against Hamas and Hezbollah.

Behind every number is a person.

A mother. A father. A husband. A wife. A son. A daughter.

A family who will never be the same.

May their memories be a blessing. 🇮🇱
