One of todays stops 📍
Wichita Southeast (6A🏈, 6-2)
The Golden Buffaloes have had an incredible turnaround this season under second year head coach Corby Milleson. They were 2-7 last year. First winning season for the program since 2008. They face Wichita Heights in the playoffs this Friday. Jason Lamb was at practice to check in and we will hear from them tomorrow. #sportsinkansas
For the first time since 2001, Wichita Southeast (6A, 3-1) knocked off city rival Wichita Heights, snapping the Falcons’ 25-game win streak in the series with a 34-13 victory Friday night. The Golden Buffaloes leaned heavily on junior running back Kendrick Harrison Jr., who delivered a workhorse performance with 232 rushing yards and 2 rushing TD’s on 35 carries. Harrison has now topped 600 rushing yards on the season, cementing himself as one of the Wichita area’s top offensive weapons. Under head coach Corby Milleson, Southeast improves to 3-1 and will host Kapaun Mt. Carmel this week in a key matchup. #sportsinkansas
