Gatwick Airport says 70% of its staff (2,100 people) are still on furlough.

It posts a £321m half-year loss & says it doesn't expect air travel to recover for 4-5yrs.

A blanket removal of furlough at the end of October can only mean severe jobs pain for the aviation industry.
