Looks like Vodafone recovered from the outage in around 2 hours, but there were still reports of people having issues up to 5 hours later. Communication from Vodafone very lacking.

An update from them this morning:

“On Monday afternoon, for a short time, the Vodafone network had an issue affecting broadband, 4G and 5G services. This was triggered by a non-malicious software issue with one of our vendor partners which has now been resolved, and the network has fully recovered. We apologise for any inconvenience this caused our customers.”

Vodafone Broadband, 4G, 5G offline across the UK. Goes to check @VodafoneUK status page, also offline. I see a flaw in their hosting/infrastructure design 😂

@NetgateUSA $899 piece of hardware that lasts 2 years. Either stick Pfsense on your own hardware, or for most of my clients, @Ubiquiti gateways now doing everything we need, and we haven't had a single gateway fail yet.

Even more disappointingly, the Netgate 6100 MAX is only 2 years old, not 3. Either way, absolute rubbish for a router to be failing that quick, and @NetgateUSA hardware is not cheap.
