This week, I have joined @BBCNews as an Advanced Journalism Apprentice, working with the team at the BBC News Channel!
A few weeks of induction and training are coming up for now, but I'm so excited to get started with one of the world's greatest broadcasters.
My new YouTube video for @BBCLondonNews
- speaking to the likes of @MikeyCycling and Big Jobber about the public's role in posting and reporting dangerous and careless driving. Is it the public's duty or is this public shaming? Link below!
Have you been caught doing something you shouldn't have while driving, like going on your phone or jumping a red light?
If so, I'd be interested in speaking with you for a story I'm working on- please get in touch via DM or email ([email protected])

@GWRHelp your staff at Reading refused to help me arrange a taxi, so I made my own arrangements to get home - as per your passenger’s charter, I assume you will be covering the full cost of this.
@LloydsBank Still showing random people's transactions for me. This feels like a severe data breach - can other users see my transaction details, for example?
@LloydsBank my banking app is showing me a series of random transactions on my current account statement that don’t belong to me. Can’t get through to you via phone as it says you’re closed… slightly concerned what is happening? Is there an issue with your app?
@MartinSLewis Lloyds app - every time I open my current account, it shows me the transactions for a different person. Balance is correct and can see details of the transactions (name, account details, etc.) but not of the person the account belong to.
@GWRHelp@UKABIF Why do you keep telling people you can’t guarantee they will be able to claim back for a taxi? That goes against your own passengers’ charter https://t.co/hDxrjIyx75
@GWRHelp@Tyw77 This isn’t true @GWRHelp - your own passengers’ charter says you have to pay out for reasonable alternative travel (eg a taxi) or a hotel when you do not make such arrangements for a passenger
Regulation No 1371/2007 also obliges you to provide alternative transport

BA have finally come back on this and say it’s being “dealt with internally” - no offer of compensation or adequate resolution.
Shameful behaviour from our national flag carrier. @British_Airways
Utterly appalling @British_Airways. I send you a four-page letter detailing the threatening, intimidating behaviour my family experienced from one of your staff earlier this week, and this is all you can respond with — a copy-and-paste generic response? Seriously?
If you watched the BBC London lunchtime news, you might have seen my package about the time ski jumping came to London! 🎿📺
You can catch it on iPlayer here (5m30s in): https://t.co/M1pAjKHsua
