Please take a moment to read about @EasterbyTim Rory Bevin's amazing 268 mile Ultra Marathon event in aid of the @IJF_official@JBHse and support him if you can. https://t.co/mkd7rWkKyW
Rory Bevin (Tim Easterby’s assistant trainer) is fundraising for ‘The Injured Jockeys Fund’. What a challenge he has set himself, a 268 mile ultra marathon! You will see him running many laps of the racecourse before racing in preparation. https://t.co/KJozThkEZY
Guitar Pete dropped off to his new home yesterday after being retired from racing last month . He has a lovely big stable and field and was hacked out this morning! #legend
just wondering the thoughts of every 1 on the grand National. Irish and English horses. Handicapping! ? 22 English runners 18 Irish 3 English finishes 12 Irish finishes.
@HarryRHaynes Something wrong with the handicap but also the Irish have better horses in general currently.
I have always thought there is a handicap problem when it comes to the north and south too. Horses get a mark down south and then seem to come up north and always do well
Another memory of when I took guitar Pete hunting for the day. He really enjoyed seeing the hounds and behaved impeccable. He will have a very happy retirement as he will be capable of doing other jobs because his mind is so good.
Happy retirement to one of my favs. Guitar Pete. Had some great days with him. The most memorable was @CheltenhamRaces when he won the Caspian Caviar Gold Cup the girl got drenched and had to change in to her pyjamas to come home. Great memories for a great horse. #legend
2003 https://t.co/JfFE111FOq Handicap Chase https://t.co/SPDT45PY3M via @YouTube Andrew Thornton rein snapped. Seeing @james_bowen_@Chepstow_Racing yesterday reminded me of this. Does anyone else remember this?!
