Replacing our most successful manager in the Premier League for Julian Lopetegui, because he was free and out of work, was a decision that deserves this outcome
Always trying to do things on the cheap with no idea, no vision, no strategy
You deserve this more than anybody David Sullivan. Fuck off out of our club and let’s hope you finally get locked up for being a dirty nonce too 👍
It is with deep sadness and the heaviest of hearts that West Ham United announces the passing this morning of legendary player, coach and manager, Billy Bonds MBE.
Rest in peace Billy, our courageous, inspirational, lion-hearted leader.
When you’re doing ‘one game to save your job’ every week YOU HAVE THE WRONG MANAGER. West Ham will not be relegated, this just consigns them to a wasted season. Lopetegui is unable to coach a coherent team. He’s all over the place. The squad doesn’t know what he wants.
I don't think Lopetegui is capable of turning this around. He was the wrong appointment. This team has regressed, has no identity, the players look despondent and the formation/tactics are questionable. (1/2) #WHUFC
FT: #WHUFC 0-3 #CFC. Boos from the West Ham fans, no surprise. It was always going to take time but yet to see any major improvements under Julen Lopetegui. Three home defeats, no identity and team keeps conceding silly goals. Not good enough given the investment this summer.
I always defer to the fans who watch their club week in, week out over a pundit who watches them on MOTD or Sky once every month or so.
Yes, David Moyes won West Ham a trophy, it doesn’t automatically make him immune from criticism. There’s an assumption that clubs outside the established “big boys” can’t hope and strive for a sign of steady progress because many pundits don’t even bother to scratch below the surface. If you actually bother to listen to the majority of those West Ham fans who wanted a change, it’s not outlandish or unreasonable but doing so requires a desire to learn rather than just spout easily parroted lines.
