A major Paper cheating scandal has surfaced in the recruitment examination for 454 Pharmacist Officers conducted by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS). A day before the examination, reports had already raised concerns about possible malpractice. During the exam, around 30 candidates were reportedly detained for allegedly using concealed Bluetooth devices.
It is also being alleged that despite plans to install signal jammers at all examination centres, none were installed at the three centres where the exam was conducted. The University administration must explain how such a critical security measure was ignored and who is accountable for this serious lapse.
@BhagwantMann government cannot evade responsibility. While the @AamAadmiParty is protesting the NEET paper leak in Delhi, why is it silent on this serious recruitment exam scandal in Punjab? Who is operating this cheating network? Who is the mastermind behind it, and how much money changed hands?
Thousands of honest aspirants have every right to demand justice. With nearly 7,000 candidates appearing for the examination and widespread allegations of organised cheating, there is a strong case for cancelling the recruitment test, conducting a fair and transparent re-examination, and ensuring a thorough, time-bound investigation that brings every person involved to justice.

In 2004, nobody expected the Congress to win. India was shining, and Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee was a formidable and charismatic political leader. Yet, against all odds, the Congress pulled off a remarkable victory.
We emerged as the single largest party with 145 seats, leading to the formation of the UPA government. For the next ten years, Dr. Manmohan Singh served as Prime Minister.
It was Smt. Sonia Gandhi ji who became Congress President in April 1998 and held the party together during a challenging period. At one point, the Congress had 15 chief ministers, and a series of chief ministers' conclaves were held in Guwahati, Srinagar, and Delhi.
These conclaves became important platforms for policy discussions, where the ideas that later shaped the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act and the Forest Rights Act emerged.
From 1999 to 2004, Sonia Gandhi ji served as Leader of the Opposition and played a central role in bringing opposition parties together. It was her efforts, more than anyone else's, that helped forge the alliance that became the UPA on the evening of May 16, 2004.

Panjab BJP leader Geja Ram says that if people in Panjab don’t like Modi then farmers should return ₹2000 PM-KISAN amount, workers should refuse MANREGA & poor should reject free rations & housing schemes.
He is taunting Panjabis to either help BJP throw out AAP or give up every welfare benefit.
Do @sunilkjakhar & @RavneetBittu agree with him?

Another act of violence in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. This time, Rajeet Royal Enfield Agency, owned by Sikh brothers, was ambushed by a mob over a minor parking dispute. Both owners were assaulted, their turbans disrespected, and their shop was pelted with stones and vandalized. During mob violence, the police was a mute spectator.
Alongside Haryana and Himachal, Uttarakhand seems to be fast turning into another UP, where the law has given up, and ‘mob justice’ has taken over.
Just yesterday, Sanghis were busy justifying how a person in Himachal wasn’t beaten but merely stopped from eating non-veg. What’s their explanation for Uttarakhand mob attack?
