1976ರಲ್ಲಿ ಈಗಿನ ವಿಶ್ವೇಶ್ವರಾಯ ಐರನ್ ಆ್ಯಂಡ್ ಸ್ಟೀಲ್ ಕಂಪೆನಿ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಅಧಿಕೃತವಾಗಿ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಖಾನೆ ತನ್ನ ಹುಟ್ಟಿನ ಕನಸನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಮತ್ತು ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿದ್ದ ವಿಶ್ವೇಶ್ವರಯ್ಯನವರಿಗೆ ಗೌರವ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಯ್ತು.

2015ರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಮಂತ್ರಿ ನರೇಂದ್ರಸಿಂಗ್ ತೋಮರ್ VISLಗೆ 1000ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಹೂಡಿಕೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಭರವಸೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗಿದ್ದರು. ಆನಂತರ ಚೌದ್ರಿ ವೀರೇಂದ್ರಸಿಂಗ್ ಕೂಡ ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಭೇಟಿಕೊಟ್ಟು ಇದನ್ನು ಪುನರುಜ್ಜೀವನಗೊಳಿಸುವ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸ ತುಂಬಿಹೋಗಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ ಭರವಸೆಗಳು ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಉಳಿದವಷ್ಟೇ ಎಂಬುದು ವಿಪರ್ಯಾಸ

McCON India has done a survey and given a report. If 1297cr invested VISL will give 15% returns. And 3297cr investments will take the returns to 22%. That is to say VISL can still be taken to the positive side of the sin wave!

ತಜ್ಞರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ VISLಗೆ 1000 ಕೋಟಿ ಹೂಡಿದರೆ ವಿಐಎಸ್ಎಲ್ ಮತ್ತೆ ಜೀವಂತಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ. 2000ಕೋಟಿ ಹೂಡಿಕೆ ಇದನ್ನು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದಲ್ಲೇ ಅಗ್ರಣಿಯಾಗಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. 15 ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಹೂಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನೇ ಮಾಡದೇ ಅತ್ಯಾಧುನಿಕತೆಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಖಾನೆಯನ್ನು ಸಜ್ಜುಗೊಳಿಸದೇ ಈಗ ಕಣ್ಣೀರಿಟ್ಟರೇನಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಹೇಳಿ?
