But being an official language makes it easier to achieve scheduled language status

Me: Because, it's simple I am Tuluva. My mother tongue is Tulu and I learnt Kannada in School.

Tulu, a Proto-Dravidian language older than other languages with over 3 million speakers and recognized as one of the most developed Dravidian languages in 1856 by Robert Caldwell. Yet, hasn’t made it to the official language? It’s high time it’s recognized.
