Fat, fluffy pancakes soaked in maple syrup?
No thank you! I’m British. I will have thin pancakes, please. Preferably ripped and crumpled after being thrown about a bit, possibly by a child. And I will have some horrible sour lemon on those, please… artificial lemon, ideally, from a plastic bottle shaped like a real lemon. I want to enjoy these pancakes, but not enough to want them again for a whole year.
Much appreciated.
I’m eating in a Michelin restaurant in Paris. 18 people in here and I’m the only one that has taken the wine flight. The sommelier, clearly fed up, has taken to introducing each drink and then leaving the bottle on the table saying ‘have as much as you want’. What a world.
Just a reminder that if you parrot the line “let women speak” over and over again, then get angry when Sandi Toksvig says something you don’t agree with, it shows that it’s not women’s voices you want to hear, just transphobes’.
As I, Daniel Khalife, was working in the kitchen. I tripped while carrying some towels, and found myself below the delivery truck. The towels had gotten caught, I was also attached to them. I was too shocked to shout for help. And accidentally let the food truck to drive away.
“For the home secretary to use the police as a weapon in her culture war while criticising them for being political is a new low – even by her standards.”
