The Nation newspaper has now confirmed through government sources that before the PFIPC operation, Adeyemi served as Senior Special Assistant on Protocol to Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State in 2023. His specific mandate was handling visa and travel documents for the governor and other government officials.

He was fired within four to five months of his appointment.

The reason given: shady deals that included forgery.

Read that again slowly. The man currently facing eight counts of forgery and impersonation at the Federal High Court in Abuja was previously fired from a state government position for shady deals that included forgery. His role in Osun was to handle visas and travel documents. The same document facilitation he later offered through PFIPC's operations. The same skill set. The same pattern. Just a bigger stage.
