No country should be allowed to massacre civilians, cut off access to water, food, fuel, electricity and any means of communication to civilians—in direct violation of international law—without any consequences.
The cover of impunity that our country provides has to end. This is not acceptable.
Israeli soldiers & settlers murdered 110 Palestinians in the West Bank (not Gaza) in the last 3 weeks.
No media interviews with their families, no tears from anchors, no stories about their lives under military occupation, & no statements of solidarity from companies.
Not sure the world UNDERSTANDS what is happening in Gaza.
7,028 Palestinians were killed in 20 days.
66% are children and women.
1,600 people, including 900 children, are missing- they may be under the rubble.

This is what genocide looks like. These are the 2913 Palestinian children killed by the Israeli military this month, as of Thursday, October 26. As the Israeli airstrikes on Gaza intensify, we recognize with horror and grief that this death toll is already inaccurate.
1/5
Two million people. Half children. Starved. Bombed. Cut from communication.
Have those facilitating this thought much about the future this leaves us? No.
Some may dismiss a ceasefire as naïve or worse. Yet who has a plan for what follows this destruction? What do we call that?

🚨NEWS: Civilians in Gaza are at unprecedented risk as Israel imposes communication black-out during bombardment and expanding ground attacks.
@Amnesty, we have lost contact with our colleagues in Gaza as well.

BREAKING: NBC CREW SEND MESSAGE FROM GAZA
“I’ve managed to get connectivity for a minute with a lot of difficulty and I wanted to let you know that all internet, electricity and everything has been cut off.
Every street is affected. People are carrying their dead and injured in the most basic methods … on trollies and in tuk-tuks.
It’s very dangerous everywhere — they are bombing us from the sky above and the ground. A few minutes ago warplanes bombed locations close to us.”
Cutting off all communication to a population of 2.2 million is unacceptable. Journalists, medical professionals, humanitarian efforts, and innocents are all endangered.
I do not know how such an act can be defended. The United States has historically denounced this practice.
BREAKING: Palestinian ambassador to the UN says 'for millions of Palestinians, there is no home to go back to' and asks, 'why do some feel so much pain for Israelis and so little pain for us? What is the problem? Do we have the wrong faith, the wrong skin color, the wrong nationality?'
The family of Al Jazeera's chief reporter in Gaza has been killed by an Israeli strike. According to Israeli media, they were targeted because Israel didn't like Wael Al-Dahdouh's reporting.
This should serve as confirmation, if we needed it, that the sniper who shot dead Al Jazeera's reporter Shireen Abu Akhleh in the West Bank last year received orders to do so.
There is nothing accidental about this pattern of Palestinian reporters being killed. After foreign reporters effectively gave up that role, Palestinians are the last journalists still documenting Israel's crimes.
