Ed Husic for PM! He's the only sitting Labor member (that I know of) that consistently speaks out against the TERRORIST STATE OF ISRAEL. PS. That's why he was demoted to the backbench (and also speaking out about the AUKUS SCAM got him demoted quick smart too).
I am extremely proud of this achievement. We have distributed more than 100 parcels of fresh and assorted fruits and vegetables, each weighing 12 kilograms, to families facing very difficult conditions.
You cannot imagine the happiness we saw on people’s faces, especially the children. Seeing them eat fresh fruit with joy after a long time of deprivation brought a feeling to my heart that cannot be described.
We are still continuing our humanitarian projects. We have delivered more than 100,000 liters of fresh drinking water to camps and areas in need, and we continue distributing food parcels and supporting families.
The United States has military bases in approximately 80 countries.
Not 8. Not 18. Eighty.
There is no other nation on earth with more than a handful of foreign military installations.
The United States has entire base ecosystems: multiple facilities, tens of thousands of personnel, prepositioning of weapons and vehicles and aircraft on every inhabited continent.
And the word used to describe this, in American political discourse, is not "occupation."
It is not "empire."
It is not even "presence."
It is called "security commitments."
The language is doing everything.
The language is the whole operation.
Because a "security commitment" sounds like something you offer to a friend. It sounds bilateral. It sounds consensual. It sounds like a favor.
It does not sound like what it is: the physical infrastructure of dominance.
The material fact of a single nation that has decided, and enforced the decision for eighty years, that it will have a military footprint on every strategically significant piece of land on earth.
And that any nation that objects to this will discover what the footprint feels like when it comes down on them.
Security commitments.
Eighty countries.
The most militarized nation in human history is the one that sets the global agenda on peace.
And somehow that sentence is not the first line of every newspaper every morning.

@AlboMP your Israeli friends pouring gasoline on babies in the West Bank ! #Complicit
In February you allowed Israelis to auction off stolen Palestinian homes in Australia . That makes you an accessory !
Oh fuck you. FUCK you. You don't get to do this now. You don't get to turn around and go "Oopsie poopsie, we made a mistake!" This was YOUR genocide, motherfuckers. YOURS. You chose it. You own it. Forever. The stench of the rotting corpses in Gaza will follow you for all time.
Fascinating that @SenatorWong says China is ‘bullying’ us, albeit she is very non-specific about the bullying, but the US threatening us with tariffs & to destroy our PBS & superannuation investments is our ‘strongest ally.’ Sorry, Penny. I’m still not afraid of China.
🇺🇸🇮🇱NEW: The U.S House just voted 216-212 to pass a national defense authorization act that has a section which integrates the U.S. and Israeli militaries.
Israel now has more power in the U.S
Mohammad Al-Masri threw his children, his pregnant wife, and his elderly mother out of the window in a desperate attempt to save them from the flames after an Israeli drone crashed into their home
But he watched helplessly as the bodies of his brother Firas, Firas’s wife, and their four children were consumed by the fire, unable to save them
This is life in Gaza
There is no complete survival that leaves room for joy only painful memories that haunt those who survive until they, too, join the martyrs
