Unemployment stats need to be uni specific not degree specific.

Worse unis will provide popular degrees at a low quality and churn out unemployable, underskilled graduates.

CS grads from top unis are unaffected by this really. Same for maths and law.

In 2022/3, the undergraduate subject area with the highest unemployment rate was Computing, followed by Maths, Law, and Business and Management.

Don’t think I’ve ever seen a UK pundit say that people should think twice about a Computing degree.

@EdwardEGibbon I have no stem bias, the caveat of 'top 5 institutions' credits my point.

I'm saying degree matters less than institution but the stem degrees (aka traditionally higher earning degrees) became over supplied at lower quality institutions

Also most CS degrees are shit, their content you could probably learn in 6 months.

Happened when people started viewing it as a vocational degree and not an academic science.
