Police have arrested NCP leader Ariful Islam Sajal in Gazipur under the Anti-Terrorism Act over a Facebook post.

Same pattern as Sifat Abdullah, still jailed three weeks after criticising the government over electricity bills, held using an unrelated old case rather than the video itself. Same law used against Gazi Salahuddin Tanvir, left partially paralysed in custody.

A law for terrorism is being used to punish speech. We demand their immediate release.

বাজার করে মানুষ বলা শুরু করেছিল ৫ বছর চাই।

অভিজ্ঞতাওয়ালা রাজনৈতিক বাটপারগুলা ইউনূসকে হেল্প তো দূরের কথা, দিনে ২,৩ টা করে আন্দোলন লাগায়ে দিসিলো।

সবাই শুধু দিনে রাইতে নির্বাচন নির্বাচন করে কান্নাকাটি করতো।

ইউনুস নির্বাচন দিয়া তো চইলা গেলো।

তো এখন, গ্যাস কই? বিদ্যুৎ কই? বাজার কই? কেন বাজার করতে যাইয়া মানুষ কান্নাকাটি করতেসে?

১ কোটি জব কই?

ইউনূসের দেড় বছরে মানুষ কারেন্ট আর গ্যাস নিয়ে এমন হাহাকার করে নাই।

এই সরকারের আমলে মানুষ যেভাবে হাহাকার করতেছে।

এই সময় এসে মাত্র ৬-৭ মাসে দেশ সংকটে পরে আছে

গত দেড় বছরে একদিনের জন্যও এরকম হয়নাই।

Most people hear $1 $Kas and immediately dismiss it without actually doing the math. At max supply that’s roughly a $29B valuation. In the last cycle we watched Dogecoin, Cardano, and even some weaker stories trade well above that level. So the market has already shown it’s willing to assign those kinds of numbers when the narrative and liquidity are there.
Toccata added the programmability layer, the roadmap is still moving and that puts it in a different category than a lot of the things that already hit multi-ten billion valuations.
For me it’s less about hitting exactly $1 and more about whether the network keeps delivering and whether real demand shows up over a full cycle. The technological foundation is solid, the monetary design is clean and the valuation target people call crazy or impossible for kaspa has already been cleared by projects with weaker fundamentals.
Still early, and execution is everything. But the argument that $1 is somehow impossible doesn’t hold up when you look at history.

BNP activists dominate DMP lists of extortionists, grabbers

Extortion rackets in the Dhaka city once run by the Awami League, activities of which are banned, are now largely in the hands of the ruling Bangladesh Nationalist Party leaders and activists, according to a Dhaka Metropolitan Police list.

- 1,530 people named as active extortionists
- 230 out of 278 patrons identified as BNP activists
- Tk 42 lakh extorted a month from Mirpur 10 to Mirpur 2 footpath alone

The list identifies 1,530 people involved in extortion and grabbing land and properties across the capital. Of them, 278 are named as patrons, and 230 of those patrons are current or former leaders and activists of the BNP and its affiliates.
