@Smorgasbord183 @Pattidbedwell Northwood is govt subsidized so much more affordable. Generally under 4k a month depending on income. Problem is the waitlist is 5 years long. My mom is waiting to get in to LTC and living in supportive living there at the mo with additional private care. The system is a mess.

@nancyregan @LisaBarrettID Thanks, Nancy for asking this question. My mom lives in supportive living at Northwood Hfx. Mandatory masking came back this weekend and the website says there are cases. I’ve heard rumours of at least one death this week but nothing official. The seniors there are scared.

The generator at Northwood Halifax is out. Phones, elevators not working. Tenants/Residents stuck in the lobby. Others can’t leave their rooms. pitch dark in hallways. @nspowerinc @nsgov DO BETTER FOR OUR SENIORS.
