@GemmaDa76260506@house_albany Great work Gemma, happy to catch up sometime and talk about how we can get colleagues across PA more involved in supporting this kind of thing.
@FootballCliches Previewing Brighton's cup game in the week, Lyle Taylor said on 5 live that Billy Gilmour 'needs one to go in off his backside' to get his season going. Obviously wrong for all players bar strikers, but what would the equivalent phrases be for players in the other positions?
@BicramAthwal Service charge broadly applies to the whole property regardless of whether or not it is shared ownership. So for true comparison you should apportion SC as 25% to the rented bit and 75% to the owned bit. Also mortgage is for less than 75% as you will have put down a deposit.
Great work @JasmineTansur. Our sector needs to get more people like Jasmine, with their own direct experience of social housing, into positions of influence.
I am so excited to announce I am a board member for the CIH Futures! Its going to be an amazing opportunity and one I am very grateful for! #FuturesFam#boardmember#CIH
@ResourcesShared@tomemurtha There are also some mgt costs, plus a bunch of variables particularly rate of future staircasing and extent to which value appreciates. All HA accounts will state net income from SO homes and capital cost of those homes, so it is possible to derive some approx % returns.
@tomemurtha The maths seems wrong. Rent is derived from equity value whereas interest is on the (lower) build cost. Also doesn't factor in staircasing or any SHG subsidy. Plus most HAs can borrow at below 2.75% in the current climate. I agree that SO should be seen as core social housing.
Your regular reminder that sterling investors DO support #greenbonds & other ESG debt issues in UK currency!
Today's evidence: as much as ยฃ1.2bn of demand for @pa_housing's debut #sustainabilitybonds, enabling pricing 23bp inside initial indications ๐

We launched the Naumann Initiative today, in partnership with @kingdom_ha
This will see @pa_housing making combined employment and accommodation offers to people who have experienced homelessness. Thank you to all our project team members who have worked so hard on this.
Great to read about the vital work which continues at Eden Park, our specialist scheme in Corby to support young parents. A timely reminder that we in office jobs have it easy. Everything we do must be geared towards helping the likes of Zoe and her team achieve their goals.
Thanks to @KellyatPA for the loan of this book...a fantastic read which has helped fire my enthusiasm for exciting work in the pipeline here at @pa_housing
@KatHiscock86 @pa_housing Fully agree with this and in fact it's been great to see such a huge team effort throughout PA in difficult circumstances. Thanks and well done to everyone.
