Software engineer Sambhav Jain.
Married in 2023 and had a premature child who faced frequent illnesses, leading to heavy medical expenses that forced him into deep debt.
The resulting financial strain triggered severe marital discord, culminating in a 2025 divorce with a total settlement agreement of ₹3 crore to his wife. Had already paid ₹1 crore, he was facing an immediate demand for the next ₹1 crore alongside his mounting medical debts.
Overwhelmed by financial distress and mental stress, he messaged his father stating he could no longer manage the liabilities before jumping from the 42nd floor in Noida.
Sad.
In the last 10 years, I applied for:
1. 39 IPOs in which MUFG was the registrar, and I got an allotment in only 2 out of 39.
2. 26 IPOs in which KfinTech was the registrar, and I got an allotment in 21 out of 26.
Is it just luck?
@oldschoolinvest If the IPO is good they allot to the applications already sold in the grey market but if it isn't or if IPO may list negative they do the reverse.
Paid the remaining 17 lakh income tax yesterday.
So that Modi ji can keep collecting passport stamps…
While me and my kid keep inhaling 700 AQI at home.
SHARE MAX - DELHI IS AWAKENING !!
Protesters continue a fiery protest at India Gate against inaction of Govt to control #DelhiPollution
Citizens have now had enough!!
No points for guessing which one’s Delhi.
The total incompetence of a “triple-engine sarkar” is turning India’s capital into an air-pollution-induced “cancer hub”. In real terms, this level of negligence is a crime. The public’s quiet acquiescence is also another tragedy.
Rekha Gupta Ji and Sudhir Chaudhary Ji, the water in which you are dipping your hand and calling it clean is the filtered water from the Wazirabad Water Treatment Plant (WTP).And this is not the Yamuna but a fake Yamuna. BJP is making an incredible forgery. Sudhir Chaudhary Ji, you will not tell the public the truth about the Delhi government's AQI Real Time Monitoring System.
You earn ₹35+ lakhs, pay almost ₹8 lakhs in tax. You’d think that’s where the story ends.
But then comes the 10% surcharge, because apparently paying tax on income isn’t enough; you need to pay tax on the tax too.
But no ,enter the 4% Health & Education Cess, as if your single cheque is personally funding AIIMS and IITs this year.
Then, because your employer deducted 90% of the tax but not with the exact celestial timing the Income Tax department prefers, they quietly drop 234B and 234C interest on your head. Another ₹7-8k gone ,not for non-payment, but for the crime of paying a little late.
And just when you think you’re done, they make you do a “self-assessment tax” , which is basically the government saying, ‘Do the maths yourself, pay the remainder, and thank us for letting you.’
Sometimes it feels less like tax compliance and more like a subscription service , with a late fee, convenience fee, and loyalty surcharge all rolled in.
