Did you know? Ingrid's Sun Veil will fail if the opponent who lands an attack is able to pass through/cross up Ingrid.
It just so happens Blanka's basic Lighting Beast (Level 2) blockstring fulfils this exact requirement. :)
@Deznere They clearly want Kimberly to be lower damage, since her base dmg is 90% of normal.
I've said since day 1 release, and I still stand by this: Give Kimberly her Reversal back.
I hate seeing Bushinryu tatsu gutted like this. It gets worse and less interesting with every SF title.
Capcom has also had a lot of time to put damage scaling on Dictator's bombs. The exact same way they nerfed Blanka's doll, and how Kimberly's bombs work.
Let's see if they add dmg scaling to Ingrid's 6HP before they do it for Dictator's bombs.
Or they just keep them as is. :)
Ca me tue qu'on demande à Capcom de baisser les dégâts pour stabiliser le jeu depuis 3 ans puis qu'ils nous envoient un gnome qui fait des 80% sur un poke
@broskiFGC I'm assuming that the rate of 4 characters per year gives them a lot of leeway to add extra fluff like this to some characters. It has only been 1 per season so far (Akuma, Bipson, Ingrid).
With them cutting out World Tour, I'm hoping we start seeing more characters per year.
@broskiFGC Also really bad translation as has always been the case, and will forever continue to be the case. That certainly doesn't help these "reasonings" they write.
They literally use the opposite wording of what they actually mean / are doing in some of these adjustments.
@GregA69597144 Yeah, it's why she's played so much at pro level. She's incredibly easy to pilot and you don't need to work or think much at all beyond the basic fundamentals of SF6, and still get top tier gameplay results.
She's just a very safe and solid pick for rely on competitively.
It's normal for people to get tired of seeing the same thing over and over. Spectators want variety. Look at the last two majors, it's a LOT of Mai. She has very simplistic but effective gameplan, it quickly gets boring to watch. Hard to stay excited about it.
That's all it is.
The 3rd "Challenger Screen Illustration Contest" Challenger Screens will be added for all players to use in the Ingrid Update on May 28!
Set them via Customize Challenges and then get out there for some battles. Thanks to all participants who shared their amazing pieces with us!
I wish I was rich so I could help maintain the arcade culture with my own place and (failing) business. I live in a place where it doesn't even exist anymore, but I yearn to live with it again.
@Espadah_ Wizardry. First of all SF4 never had a Frame Meter viewer like this, as other modern FGs have now (since SF6 popularized it). And this is also a hitbox viewer (old one was a bit janky), and has some automation testing features as showcased here too.
@dantarion It makes sense given how slow start-up it is, but it's still crazy to me. I never knew it was +2 oB.
It goes to show how much tools like this are invaluable for older games.
OFC FrameTrapped 3 has always been there, but it's a big buggy and janky. So I'm very excited for this.
