Hello all! Anybody wanting to join our planned bat walk on Friday?

Sunset is around 9 so I think start time 9pm would be good rather than 8:45.

For the first time in more than 20 years the grass is being cut in a sustainable & low-impact way on the large meadow on Hatton Fields. Thank you @thameswater and @CVP_CraneValley for helping our community to enhance this habitat on the banks of the Duke of Northumberland River.
In line with other parts of the @CVP_CraneValley we are excited to finally start work on cutting back the grass on the large meadow using low-impact shire horses. Over time this will increase biodiversity and stop the land’s neutralisation from the rare and important acid heath.

Maybe the Council could resist from its determined plan to destroy the wildlife habitat in the West of the Borough!
We have attended the public hearing today and made as strong an argument as we possibly can to try and have Hatton Fields development removed from the Hounslow Local Plan. Now we wait for a decision.
We will keep you informed.
Please sign ✍️ the petition..it’s too late for me and my village…my cul de sac will be metres from a 24/7 operational, gigantic rail freight and warehouse park with no direct motorway access for the thousands of lorries generated..the noise and dust is horrendous with the construction and decimation of 420 acres of St Albans #greenbelt..it will be even worse when it’s built..@SEGROplc should not be building here, the site is totally unsuitable for a development like this…residents are trapped as unable to sell their homes..wildlife displaced except Skylarks still nesting near the construction machinery 💔
What is this Council doing developing a Local Plan that serves land owners, developers and logistics firms instead of our community? #UseYourVote#savehattonfields
