I spent some time improving my solar system generator, focusing on improving texture and lighting. Still lots to do but I'm digging some of the generated effects.
(The gif compression messed up the star effects. Check it out at https://t.co/2vQIyoa9I5 to see it uncompressed.)
A little over a month ago, I launched #TiledWords.
In the first month 36,000 people spent nearly 6,000 hours playing.
I wrote about my experience launching Tiled Words, and the next steps for the game:

I just released an update to Tiled Words based on player feedback:
- Your progress is saved if you leave and come back
- If you switch tabs or close your browser the timer is paused
Please let me know if you spot any bugs. Thanks!

I solved the Tiled Words puzzle for October 19, 2025: “Animals With Shells”
- 170 moves used
- 0/3 reveals used
- 552 seconds to complete
Can you solve the puzzle in less moves?

I had a great time showcasing my daily word game Tiled Words yesterday at the Portland Retro Gaming Expo with the Portland Indie Game Squad!
There’s a new puzzle today! (And every day!)

Today’s theme is “Preserved” - Can you find all the clues?
I'm building a daily word game!
Internet strangers told me "this fucking rules," "easily in the top 1% of daily word games," and "it should be in the NYTimes puzzles"
Can you find all 10 clues in the demo and rebuild a broken crossword? Check it out!

When plugins to add OG tags failed us, we decided to roll our own! This post demystifies open graph tags (which are just #HTML meta elements, after all) and shows how we handle them at @CloudFour. https://t.co/js9I3eCuPd
By the way, although I'm still sharing new articles on Twitter I'm moving most of my online communication to Mastodon and may stop sharing things here soon. If you enjoy this content I encourage you to follow me at https://t.co/JHPl0SpTmJ
I procedurally generated a bunch of random snowflakes and wrote about my process: https://t.co/RlMr2TrD84
I’m really proud of this article and I hope it’s a fun introduction to generative art and SVGs.
I recently wrote about the math behind nesting rounded corners.
I got some great feedback that got me thinking about why design rules are useful and why we should sometimes break them:

You might have encountered a scenario where two or more rounded cornered elements looked weird when nested within each other. Here is the explanation for why that happens from @HaulPebert and how to fix it https://t.co/t6Q4ZEZWGU
