During a food donation delivery from HelpingACT, a young man living with a disability pulled up to ask for some food๐
Thankfully we could help him immediately. We're so grateful for our partnership with HelpingACT helping those in need w/in Havelock Hse & in the wider community
Our Havelock women (both staff and some residents) got together today for a fun morning tea and made some gorgeous floral posies ๐บ๐ธ๐ผ
Staying connected isn't just good for you, it's good for your #health#WomensHealthWeek@JeanHailes
This #WomensHealthWeek, we're asking our staff and residents: "What's a positive thing you've done for your health and wellbeing?"
For Krystal, reaching out to her supports has been important for her #mentalhealth.
@jeanhailes
It's been a tough year, so this #WomensHealthWeek, we're joining @JeanHailes and reminding all women to look after themselves and take positive action for their #health and #wellbeing.
Have you checked in on your health?
Our Patron, Hugh Mackay AO, has shared his thoughts on #homelessness in #CBR.
"Canberra has the ability to eliminate homelessness more so than other Australian capital cities"
Here is how he thinks the ACT Govt can tackle the issue:

Weโre always trying to find ways to learn and provide better outcomes for our residents. On Mon, we'll undertake LGBTIQ+ awareness and inclusivity training to enhance our practice and policy when it comes to LGBTIQ+ people and communities ๐ณ๏ธโ๐
Thank you very much to @MeridianACT
On @RNBreakfast this a.m. Paul Keating said that at current interest rates 0.8% "we could be building social housing till the cows come home" and if Build to Rent can get a 3% return superfunds will invest - we need to connect the two @CHIA_News @_EverybodysHome
Itโs enormously gratifying when our residents recognise the hard work we put into #wellbeing activities and building a resident community that is connected, inclusive and supported. This is what sets us apart.

This exciting program adds to our dynamic Community Development program, facilitating more wrap around support for our residents to promote their overall #wellbeing
