AFP members who worked through the 2025 Christmas and New Year period did so because the organisation needed them.

Months later, some members are still waiting to be properly paid for that work.

The AFPA has raised the issue directly with the AFP and is seeking urgent action to resolve the outstanding payments.

This is about a basic principle. When members turn up, perform their duties and keep AFP operations running and Australia safe during holiday periods, they should be able to rely on being paid correctly and on time.

The AFPA will continue to advocate for affected members until the matter is resolved.
