OK so some were pissed off about my previous alignment that had Louisville and Kentucky in the Big Ten because Memphis was elevated to the SEC and James Madison was elevated to the Big East.

Well, it’s fixed. Sorry Memphis and James Madison fans. Back to your G6 leagues. Also, them Big Ten teams are required to play 2 non-con opponents in this hypothetical power 8 in order to get 9 power-opponent games. Hate it if you want

You still have a lot of issues though when thinking about how teams get into the CFP, regardless of how many teams make up the CFP.

My model is best fit for a 16-team bracket (which I want the most), giving 16 teams a chance to compete for eight automatic bids. The highest ranked G5+ conference champion also gets an automatic bid, leaving 7 wild cards

The non-con requirement is to make up for those big ten teams only having 7 conference games. Imo each power team should have at least 9 power conference opponents.

For all the non-football sports, I’m considering adding Xavier and Butler in there to bring them up to 10 because of their basketball prestige, having been in the Big East
