Cohen was a two-time All-District selection – including the 2026 District Player of the Year, one of 20 players in Class 6 named to the MBCA All-State Team, and one of just 10 players in Class 6 named to the High School on SI All-State Team.

As a senior captain, Cohen averaged 11.1 points, 3.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.8 steals per game. He graduates as Rockhurst's career leader in assists (338) and steals (182).

Coach Thomas, along with Coach Drew Gruver of Bonner Springs, won the Eddie Ryan Coach of the Year Award for Missouri! @HawkletHoops finished its season 28-2 with a 3rd Place finish at State.

Coach Billy Thomas, @HawkletHoops Head Coach, was honored at last week's DiRenna Awards, hosted by the Greater Kansas City Basketball Coaches Association (GKCBCA) & @KSHB41! Since 1954, the DiRenna Awards have recognized the region's top boys and girls players and coaches.

We believe that this is just the third time in the last 40 years that @HawkletHoops has had multiple All-State players in the same season! Kevin also became the Hawkets' first three-time All-District player in the last 20 years!

Both four-year varsity players, the senior duo helped guide the 2025-26 @HawkletHoops to a 3rd Place finish at State and a final record of 28-2 – good for the second most wins and third best winning percentage (93.3%) in program history.

Kevin Sullivan '26 is All-District for the 3rd season! A KU Football signee, Kevin was also dominant on the hardwood over his @HawkletHoops career. Averaged 10+ PPG each of the last 3 years; led Rock in scoring & rebounds in 25-26, and 2nd in assists. Rock State!

Congrats to Hueston Saunders '26, our Cosentino's PC & @DMInjuryLaw Week 16 AOTW! Hueston capped off his @HawkletHoops career by leading Rock in the State Semis and 3rd Place game. He posted a career-high 23 points to take 3rd, shooting 14/25 (56%) across the 2 games. Rock State!
