Firmus, founded in 2019 and backed by Nvidia $NVDA , Coatue, and Blackstone, builds high-capacity "AI factories" across Australia and Asia-Pacific, with major contracts including OpenAI and Meta, targeting up to $30 billion in committed annual revenue.
The IPO, potentially the second-largest in Australian history after Telstra's 1997 listing, tests sustained investor demand for AI infrastructure amid expansion into Indonesia and Malaysia.
You donβt have to trade like this.
When people think of βtrading,β they often picture:
6 monitors.
Constant alerts.
1-minute charts.
Small-cap stocks moving 20% in a day.
Sitting in front of the screen from open to close.
Thatβs one style of trading.
Itβs not the only one.
You can slow everything down.
π Monthly chart β bigger picture
π Weekly chart β trend and stage
π― Daily chart β setup and trigger
π‘οΈ Risk β decide where youβre wrong
For someone with a job, business, family, or simply no desire to watch markets all day, a slower process may be far more practical.
You donβt need to catch every move.
You donβt need to trade every day.
You donβt need to compete with someone scalping a 1-minute chart.
Different timeframe. Different game.
Find a process that fits your life.

Instead of starting with speculative small caps, weβll often use ASX ETFs to learn how markets behave.
Example:
NDQ on the monthly chart.
Donβt start with:
βIs NDQ a buy?β
Start with:
π§ Macro β whatβs happening with rates, liquidity and risk appetite?
π Trend β is NDQ trending higher?
πͺ Stage β is it in an established uptrend, recovering, or declining?
π― Trigger β what price action would confirm an entry?
π‘οΈ Risk β what would invalidate the setup?
On this chart, you can clearly see the market move through:
Stage 4 β Stage 1 β Stage 2
Same ETF.
Completely different way of thinking.
The goal isnβt to tell you what to buy.
Itβs to teach you how to analyse what youβre looking at.

Most beginners start with:
βWhat should I buy?β
I think that's the wrong first question.
A better process is:
π§ 1. Macro
What environment are we trading in?
π 2. Trend
Is price actually moving higher, lower or sideways?
πͺ 3. Stage
Is this accumulation, an established uptrend, topping, or a downtrend?
π― 4. Trigger
What specifically would make me enter?
π‘οΈ 5. Risk
What would prove the idea wrong?
That's the HawkxScope framework:
Macro β Trend β Stage β Trigger β Risk
No prediction required.
Just a repeatable process.
General education only.
A beginner opens TradingView.
RSI says overbought.
MACD says bullish.
Someone on X says recession.
Another says melt-up.
Fed meeting next week.
Bitcoin is pumping.
Bond yields are rising.
A YouTuber says BUY.
Now what?
This is where most people make trading unnecessarily complicated.
Start with three questions:
1. What is the trend?
Up, down or sideways?
2. What is my setup?
What specifically am I waiting for?
3. Where am I wrong?
What invalidates the trade?
Everything else comes later.
You don't need 15 indicators.
You need a decision process.

You've probably seen the meme:
βThis is who you're trading against.β
Let's take it literally.
You buy a stock.
Someone else sells it to you.
But that doesn't mean one of you is the "dumb money".
They might be:
β’ taking profit
β’ rebalancing a portfolio
β’ hedging another position
β’ trading a 5-minute chart
β’ investing on a 10-year horizon
β’ following an algorithm
β’ reacting emotionally
Different traders can make opposite decisions at the same price β and both decisions can make sense.
So don't obsess over being smarter than the person on the other side.
Build a better process.
Environment β Trend β Setup β Trigger β Risk
That's the game we're going to study here.
