As a foreigner, I feel like me living in Europe would make them feel like I’m extracting for myself as I have no reason to live there.

I simply have too much respect for them. It just feels arrogant and self-serving to want to insert myself into someone’s homeland.

The traditional practice of families gifting their newlywed children a dowry to needs to come back.

The standard practice of making your kids find their own way, and only when you die giving them an inheritance (or what’s left after a bunch of carnival cruises) is actually quite untraditional and anti-family.

Instead of making your children wait until they’re 60 and established before giving them what’s left of your money, why not give them a boost when they’re 24, newly married, and in need of money to buy a house, feed their kids and make a life for themselves?
