#Firefighters in #Olathe battled a house #fire near Santa Fe St and Hedge Ln (1833 W Fredrickson Dr). The call came in around 1:15 am. A family of four safely escaped the blaze. Damage to the home is significant. The #RedCross was called to assist the residents who are displaced.

Around 9 am firefighters in Olathe battled an apartment fire near Old Hwy 56 & I35 (888 E Old Hwy 56). It took firefighters 40 min. to control the blaze. The fire displaced residents in 22 units due to damage of the building’s main electrical service. No injuries.
KCKFD working a 2 alarm fire with mutual aid at Fuchs Lubricant’s Co. located at 2140 S. 88th Street. Flammable liquid fire in a storage kettle extended fire into the ceiling above. Hazmat crews working along with suppression crews to contain & extinguish the fire. No injuries.
It took firefighters about 20 minutes to get a building fire under control near 151st St. and Lone Elm Rd. in Olathe (780 W Frontier Cir.). The call came in around 9:40 pm. Investigators are on-scene investigating the fire’s cause. A damage estimate is not yet available.
