Hayfield FC also wanted to send our thoughts to our good friend Southy and his family, after the passing of his Grandfather Ron South.
Rest in peace Ron.
Hayfield first team beat Tideswell 7-1 at the weekend, and the reserves unfortunately lost to Buggy 4-3.
However, the weekend was more than just football…
Everyone associated with Hayfield was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of the former League Comittee member and stalwart Mr John Greatorex.
Our thoughts are with his family.
A true Gentleman who was dedicated to the League and Grassroots football in general.
RIP John.
