Positive relationships can be a powerful motivator. Students work harder for teachers they like and respect. And Teachers work harder for admin they like and respect too.
We need to help kids identify emotions and give them coping strategies to use when needed.

Some of the best leaders in education are not in admin but in the classroom. Just because a teacher doesnβt want to move into admin doesnβt mean they arenβt highly qualified leaders with expertise and experience that can benefit the school and district.
@teacher_mooreh@PrinceEa I loved that metaphor because there is a difference between school and education. I know in k-12 i used to always ask myself why these things were even important. I feel like if we have material that is valuable to students, they will enjoy learning more. #UABEEC301SP20
@teacherburton1 @PrinceEa 100% yes! After graduating high school, I found it very hard to do βadultβ things because I was never taught. Taxes, cooking, building credit, and finances in general is just as important as anything else. #UABEEC301SP20
