@selz_j The hormones injections are a wonderful advance in treatment! My Dad went from a ridiculously high reading of 1400+ to now undetectable. He'll always have the cancer as it progressed too far but this is stopping it progressing any further 😊
It's worth noting for those maybe worried about high PSA, that it doesn't necessarily mean you have cancer. Thankfully my Dad's kidney function returned enough for him to live but he will always have cancer as it progressed undetected for too long.
My Dad (60s) went back & forth to his GP for 2.5years with problems in his health. They poked him every which way but they failed to complete a simple PSA test. It wasn't until he was in kidney failure as a long term result of missing his high PSA that it was found #BBCBreakfast
He was admitted to a specialist unit with 14% kidney function & advanced, aggressive prostate cancer that had spread through his body. His oncologist was astounded that the PSA hadn't been done or that they hadn't checked his kidney function either
@VodafoneUK Are you guys having tech issues this morning? The broadband is down where I am & the network checker page isn't working to find out - presumably extra traffic on it?
@SilverstoneUK After 5hrs I've been kicked out - the ticket price has now gone up & trying to re-enter I've been immediately kicked out again. It doesn't look like I'm the only one, Silverstone please do better.
@SilverstoneUK I've been waiting over 3hrs now... several times despite the notice displayed, I've been told to refresh the page - the red bar has also gone backwards. Has the site crashed again like yesterday?
@HMRCcustomers I am self employed (& will continue to be) but I will also be taking on a small PAYE job as well. I am filling out the HMRC starter checklist as I don't have a P45 - but unsure what to tick with statement a, b & c. I don't think any apply to being self employed?
Just sat down to finally watch the @C4F1 highlights at last. Underwelming to say the least. @GeorgeRussell63 podium 🍾 totally deserved just from that quali performance though!

@HMRCcustomers Leading on from that, on the first page of 'details' do I therefore need to tick that turnover is £1000 or less. Or is that cancelled out by offsetting against the other business? And finally - is there anything else I should be recording on the self assessment in regard to this?
@HMRCcustomers I have a query about offsetting loss on one of my businesses. I've been waiting on the webchat for nearly 2hrs, in that time chat has been available only 3 times & I've been booted out of the chat everytime before I've even entered my name. How can I get in touch?
@HMRCcustomers I was going down the route of using cash basis - but having read the little 'drop down' info provided have I correctly interpreted that I can select 'no' to cash basis if claiming a loss - & therefore I can offset my loss from one business against the other in the same tax year?
@HMRCcustomers I have 2 businesses - one newly started in 20/21 however due to Covid I made a loss. I would like to offset this either against my other business in my 20/21 SA or against the same business next year. How do I do this? Thanks.
Such sad news to hear that Murray Walker has passed away. I grew up with his voice on the telly every weekend of my childhood, long before I even knew what F1 was. He'll be sorely missed & as the great Murray once said "I've got to stop because I've got a lump in my throat" 😢
