Hays City Commissioners this evening voted 4-1 for an ordinance requiring the wearing of face masks in public spaces in town to take effect in the city of Hays beginning 8 a.m. Monday to expire midnight Aug. 31, for people ages 8 and up. There are 10 exemptions to the ordinance.
