Is there any point of looking at the posting results tomorrow, I’m 100% sure it will say not posted. What is the point in applying for a role if they won’t post you to it?! I passed the promotion process and boarded for a role which I got but it’s not a priority apparently 🙄

I question why I want to be a police officer anymore.

Now I question why. Why should I stay?! I’ve given my all, helped keep critical training and roles functional. And yet there’s nothing in return. Are we still and always will be a just a number?!

The longer I wait to be posted into a job that I applied, interview and got. Makes me wonder what the point in ever going for promotion is for, when you keep seeing not posted. Second guessing if I want to be in the job at all anymore!

My dream job is there waiting for me. But the almost archaic processes of getting there is delaying my development and my further promotion processes. Well over a decade later I’m still earning less than I did before I joined the job. I joined it to help, to serve and protect.
