It’s now abundantly clear that there’s no need to vote tactically in Hazel Grove to keep out the tories. Labour CAN win here so #VoteLabour on 4 July and elect Claire as our first Labour MP
*Too close to call in Hazel Grove*
The latest from Polling Report shows Labour gaining ground on the Lib Dems and says our constituency is too close to call.
It’s clear that voters who support Labour can vote Labour with confidence 🌹

Andrey Melnichenko has now had his yacht seized by Italy, to go with the sanctions imposed on him across the EU on Thursday. Yet Liz Truss, who guaranteed £50.94mn in credit for Melnichenko's coal company in 2019-20, has still not added him to the UK sanctions list. Why is that?

I think the public should know this
• UK hourly minimum wage in 1998: £3.60
• UK hourly minimum wage today: £8.91
But....
• Highest UK pay packet in 1998: £0.63m
• Highest UK pay packet in in 2021: £421m
Wealth is not trickling down, it’s being hoovered up.
That brings me to a pretty astounding statistic.
In the past year, the average house has earned more than the average youngster.
🏠 UK house prices are up by £24,600
💷 Over the same period the average 18 to 29-year-old had medium earnings of £23,250.
The asset divide is widening
@WillSharpp@HazelGrove_Lab Congratulations @WillSharpp. I am looking forward to campaigning for you with the team at Hazel Grove Constituency Labour Party 🙌🏾
Brilliant turnout to our campaign event in collaboration with @Unite_Community to send a clear message to @William_Wragg to #StopTheCut to Universal Credit. We had a great response from the public too, angry that £20 a week is being taken from those struggling most.
Before the NHS was created, people said free universal healthcare was impossible.
A Labour government built the NHS and proved them wrong.
That should be our approach to social care: a National Care Service, free at the point of use, funded by tax rises on the super-rich.
