A young man, Taha al-Shuaibi, died on Sunday in Al-Jawf, an area under Houthi control, after contracting dengue fever.

Medical sources said the disease is spreading widely in Al-Matoun District.

Activists in Al-Jawf have called for urgent intervention to contain the major dengue outbreak and launch mosquito-control campaigns, saying that hundreds of residents have contracted the disease amid inadequate medical services.
