One Starknet development I think is easy to underestimate:@Starknet

Privacy is moving from a feature into infrastructure.

Starknet’s current stack already includes STRK20, private USDC, shielded assets and private strkBTC. Its own developer materials now describe use cases ranging from private payments and payroll to trading, governance and agent flows.

But there’s an important distinction here.

Having the infrastructure available does not mean private finance has actually reached product-market fit.

The harder part is UX.

A user shouldn't need to understand encrypted balances, shielding, proving or privacy keys just to make a private payment.

That means Starknet’s real challenge is no longer only:

“Can we make transactions private?”

It is:

“Can privacy become simple enough that normal users choose it without thinking about the cryptography?”

That is a much higher bar.

And I think this is where STRK20 becomes interesting. If developers can integrate privacy into existing applications rather than forcing users into a completely separate privacy ecosystem, the technology has a better chance of becoming invisible infrastructure.

My view:

The biggest privacy milestone for Starknet won't be the number of assets that can be shielded.

It will be the first wave of applications where users use privacy naturally because the product experience makes it easier—not because the user came specifically looking for a privacy feature.

That's the adoption signal I'd watch.
