Hey! Happy Birthday CAO!
The profession of optometry has come a long way in 75yrs. Just think of the progress we have made over those years, in large part due to the efforts of your optometry associations. Thank you to all those who have served on their councils and committees!
It's CAO's 75th Anniversary! On June 30, 1948, Bill C5 an Act to incorporate The Canadian Association of Optometrists, was passed in the House of Commons. #CanadianOptometry#GetEyeWise

Interesting poll results. Students , who make up the majority of this audience at this presentation at the AOA meeting, are not yet convinced that Teleoptometry can provide comprehensive care. Lack of detailed knowledge about Teleoptometry May be a big factor.
Attending a thought-provoking discussion on access to care and Teleoptometry at the AOA meeting. Huge numbers of students in attendance- many with no experience in Teleoptometry “There will be a Teleoptometry lane coming to every optometry school that wants it.”EssilorLuxottica

Second reading of Bill C-284 is this week! Thanks to @JudySgroMP for this bill to establish a National Vision Strategy and to promote healthy eyes and clear vision for all Canadians. Great to see the collaboration from all sides of the house to support this important bill.
Great opportunity to share information and to discuss increased eye care access for rural, remote and indigenous eye care in Saskatchewan and across Canada this past weekend in #Saskatoon. Together we can make improvements in this important area. Great to meet SAO members &board
Our patients with mild and moderate VA reduction can benefit from treatment in a primary care optometry practice. Great tips for providing service to improve visual function by Dr Stan Woo at the Saskatchewan Assoc. of Optometrists meeting this weekend.
