People are getting frustrated because they think "if the loss in revenue for THIS WHOLE MONTH wasn't enough to force their hand, then speaking with our wallet isn't enough!"

What those people fail to understand is: Businesses have built in runway. A single month of bad sales is a signal, not an immediate killer. Infold won't bankrupt over a month of bad revenue. They won't EOS over a single month of bad revenue. If they are like every other competent business out there (pauses for laughter), then they have a good war chest of money to get them through without having to do a damn thing, before it gets DIRE.

For example, the company I work for knows that if we do LITERALLY NOTHING and stop gaining a single cent in revenue, we can continue operating normally for 3 years.

NORMALLY. For THREE YEARS.

And we are nowhere near as big as Infold as a company.

That's not at all to say that Infold will string us along for YEARS (that would be actually insane), but that's to paint the picture that while what we're doing is EFFECTIVE, it doesn't necessarily mean it's going to be FAST.

There are A LOT of unknowns at play, but what we DO KNOW is that businesses at their core care about revenue.

A drop this big is a huge signal. Even if it doesn't force their hand to move right away, we have to OUTLAST THEM, because right now the game MIGHT be that they're waiting to see if we get tired and give up and go back to spending like before.

But if we OUTLAST THEM and their revenue CONTINUES to tank/plateau at a historic low for the company, they will have no choice but to address it. Because while they do have runway, the goal of a business is not to burn THROUGH that runway. It's to grow profit and continue to pad the runway and expand operations.

It's a game of stamina that we're playing with them at this point.

So the TL;DR is:
* Don't spend.
* If you can help it, don't log in.
* If you have to pull on Caleb do it with saved resources and DON'T. SPEND.

Keeping consistent pressure on their bottom line is what will be the strongest communicator with them and is what will eventually force them to act.

Hey @Love_Deepspace, since you're clearly having a hard time communicating, I'll help you. Here's a template you can use to address us!

"Miss Hunters, over the last week we have carefully deliberated about the future of Love & Deepspace and the needs of our Hunters. It has become apparent that the frustration and unrest we observed was deeper than we had initially realized. There were unknown factors at play that amplified this even further, which we are actively working to counteract.

We want to begin by apologizing for the many miscommunications that have taken place over the last few weeks, and for the harm and frustration it has caused many of our players. It is clear that we acted impulsively, and in the future we will work hard to never repeat this situation. We have seen and heard you, and we understand now how to better serve our Hunters.

Here is what you can expect moving forward:

- Update 6.0 is being resumed as originally advertised: introducing our sixth love interest, Valko, and our new home update. To compensate players for the frustration caused by our negligence over the last two weeks, we are giving five free standard wish crates. These are free to be used on Valko to collect his new cards, or on any existing love interest. We hope this token of appreciation will allow all hunters to feel seen and acknowledged during this time.

- More main story updates. Looking back, we realize that these frustrations have built up for a long time, and many of them were related to a lack of regular main story content. We will still ensure new exciting banners release regularly, but we will supplement them with main story content as well, to ensure an enjoyable gaming experience for all and an engaging story.

- Equal content for all love interests. We acknowledge that there is a gap in content between love interests, and that this creates a different battling experience for each character. We have a plan to work on balancing the amount of content between all love interests by releasing more standard cards and bonds for Sylus, Caleb, and Valko. This way, regardless of bias, all Hunters have an equal experience.

- A general schedule. From this point on, we are going to be transparent in our scheduling. We understand that players want a roadmap and transparency. Because of this, we are currently coming up with a general schedule. It will omit banner details to preserve an element of surprise, but it will give Hunters an opportunity to know what to expect in regards to new story content, banners, and more.

- Better communication. It is clear that our communication has been lacking. Through your emails and posts, we have seen that there are areas of the game that still need to be improved beyond what has been stated here. This includes but is not limited to new ways to farm diamonds and materials, and lighting problems that prevent inclusivity. We vow to address all of these concerns, even if it takes some time to properly implement. We hear you, and we will communicate these needs and solutions for them better moving forward.

We hope that these commitments show our appreciation and dedication to giving you a good gaming experience. Though we have lost the trust of many during this time, we are dedicated to gaining this back and will actively work to give you the best gaming experience in the future. Traversing Deepspace should be a fun and enjoyable experience, and from this point on we will ensure our Hunters truly believe it is so. We apologize again for the frustration and harm this has caused, and we hope that our Hunters give us an opportunity to right our wrongs."
