En un giro que redefine la batalla contra la corrupción en el Perú, un juez federal del Distrito Sur de Nueva York ha emitido hoy una resolución monumental que abre las puertas del sistema financiero estadounidense al escrutinio peruano. Esta decisión autoriza al Estado Peruano y a la Municipalidad Metropolitana de Lima (MML) a solicitar, mediante citaciones formales, registros bancarios y de compensación almacenados en instituciones clave como Brookfield Asset Management, Scotiabank, KPMG, la red de pagos CHIPS y el Banco de la Reserva Federal de Nueva York. No es un avance menor: es la primera vez que una entidad pública peruana accede a información financiera de este calibre en el corazón del sistema bancario global, permitiendo rastrear el flujo de fondos entre 2013 y 2016, el período exacto en que el esquema de sobornos de Odebrecht —conocido como “Operaciones Estructuradas”— contaminó concesiones como la de Rutas de Lima.

While this is well written there's a certainty and fatalism to it that's unnecessary.

Part of the solution to problems is knowing that there's a problem.

Long term building in crypto isn't dead.

It just hasn't worked for a few years.

But our parents worked jobs for 30+ years.

Our grandparents fought in World Wars.

The chip/semiconductor market took decades to reach the consumer market (at the beginning the main market for chips was the government/military/NASA).

Things will only be certain through the backwards looking lens of history.

The current environment hurts. Nobody wanted this.

But I believe that teams that survive and continue to push forward will find green shots.

We're seeing this on Ronin. But progress often happens quietly for a long time before its recognized.

I'm not asking you to hang in there longer.

I'm just telling you that I will continue.
