@DoctorKarl Interesting drawing of multiple very long bows in the SA opinion piece. Opening paragraph tells of an opinion looking for validation more than a scientific meta analysis.
Perhaps better published in a new monthly “Opinion American”.
@DoctorKarl Don’t know of papers, would like to see ‘shredded’ blades used as concrete reo or similar. Perhaps park benches. They are generally not recyclable.
@AFPAssociation@ShaneRattenbury Pretty tough for all (except crims) Canberrans. Pity politics and a politician is getting in the way of the deterrence measures put in place and accepted by the community.
If the @AusFedPolice were exempt from the efficiency dividend for the last 4 years, that would have covered the cost of an additional 1,197 constables/federal agents (band 3.5) or the recruitment of 1,614 new recruits. To read our election campaign, click: https://t.co/V7LE678Hq4
A strong defence force is critical but so too is properly resourcing our AFP. There's a compelling case to increase numbers which will make a big difference nationally and locally in keeping our communities safe.
Some great policy ideas from @AFPAssociation
@TheMandarinAU@KristyMuir2 Great piece @KristyMuir2 and well received. I note too often in meetings where the discourse is stymied by long held opinion blocking others lived experiences and front-line advisory.
If there were but interest @The_Nationals best bet @LinleyWelsh for the #Mallee. Bring intellect, passion and honesty to the people. 👋 #CarolineWelsh4MP
