@cherylanne101 @WhisperingBob@wardthomasmusic@breland So glad they had a great trip. It was so lovely to meet them 💛 Perhaps we'll bump into each other at next year's festival! @C2Cfestival is the best weekend of the year!
.@whisperingbob@wardthomasmusic@breland Margaret and Colin are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. They've come from Lowestoft and are sitting next to me. It's their first time at C2C. Please give them a shout out when you come out ❤️ #country2country
@ImogenM16@jonnybid@kashleyenglish@TeresaCremin @HollyIrving19 @uksla A3 The best reading role models I see are open about what kind of reader they are themselves. They talk about own book preferences & find joy in asking children about theirs too. They personalise it & show that reading is part of being human, not just being at school #UKLAChat
🔰We are still in shock from the announcement but wanted to celebrate 🥳
🔰Retweet, follow & tag a teacher friend and/or their school to be in with a chance of winning FIVE whole school memberships with a book bundle!
🔰Entries will close on 14.11 at noon. Good luck!🤞#giveaway
Lencioni: 'If someone were to offer me one single piece of evidence to evaluate the health of an organisation, I would want to observe the leadership team during a meeting'
@mr_rushby@MrTs_NQTs It may be controversial but I've never given prizes for sweepstakes 🤷♀️ They all get excited about 'their' country and it becomes a lovely focus for part of the day. Then we clapped or congratulated the person who had picked the winner. This also may not be controversial at all.
@TwinklSLT @Gemma_Drinkall Make sure they know they need to say no more. I didn't realise that I found it hard to say no. I just always said yes because I was being adaptable. A colleague told me I needed to say no more and the realisation dawned. Different POV maybe but we have to look out for each other.
@nourishworkplce@TwinklSLT I agree. There's a lot about setting the example by doing. But if there's a member of staff who struggles to switch off/let go, then they won't see the example. Mary Myatt's 'Done is better than perfect' blog post was shared by @TeacherTapp & I have shared with others since.
@PrimaryRocks1 It's all about taking inspiration from people along the way - whether that's added to the 'I want to do' list or 'Absolutely not' list #PrimaryRocks
@PrimaryRocks1 Definitely more than one person! My mum was a teacher so I probably followed in her footsteps (despite her telling me not to). Met an inspirational HT during a PGCE school placement, then opposite in NQT year. Definitely a lot of what not to do there and has shaped my vision.
