My newest foster dog arrived.

She was so terrified of me she spent the first night in the corner growling and unable to even function on a leash

But then, as they so often do, things started to get better 🧵

Cobbler is a 2 year old lab mix waiting to be adopted near Minneapolis. She does great with other dogs, is potty trained & great on leash.

Cobbler needs a patient home while she continues to open up to the world, but once you start to see that progress she's an incredible dog.

Watching this beautiful dog gain confidence with her foster family has been so heartwarming. So we thought this adoptable 2 year old dog in Minnesota deserved her own thread.

By the 2nd day Cobbler was cuddled up to her foster, playing with the other 2 dogs in the home and we saw that anxiety slowly start to slip away.

Cobbler just needs a chance, she just needs to know what a permanent loving home is like and she will flourish.

Everyone - meet Dixie! She's a 1 year old 30lb Husky mix waiting to be adopted near St Paul, Minnesota.

We took Dixie to an adoption event today and she absolutely shined. Loved every dog, every person and she was great with kids.

Dixie was found as a stray in northern Minnesota and never claimed. After a long stray hold she came down to the Twin Cities and has been an absolute joy for everyone at Healing Hearts.

She's got a few commands down like sit and stay and is really eager to learn and grow.
