Landed in Rome, Italy. I will be meeting President Sergio Mattarella and Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and holding discussions with them. This visit will focus on how to boost India-Italy cooperation, especially focusing on the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC). The Joint Strategic Action Plan 2025-2029 will also be reviewed. I will also be visiting the Headquarters of the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) and strengthening India’s commitment to multilateralism as well as global food security.

In southern Tanzania, scientists hired contractors to build 110 simple, two-story houses designed to reduce the risk of a slew of diseases for their residents and then randomly selected families to live in them.

Children in those buildings suffered less often from malaria, diarrhea, and respiratory infections—diseases that together kill more than 1 million children each year in sub-Saharan Africa—than those living in traditional mud-and-thatch houses in the same villages, the scientists report.

What is Pi?

Understanding Pi is essential if you want to make calculations for circles, cylinders, spheres, and anything circular, even an ellipse. Pi is the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter. It doesn't matter how big or small the circle is - the ratio stays the same. Properties like this that stay the same when you change other attributes are called constants.
