Monday 5k treadmill run
Tuesday 33k cycle
Wednesday evening walk
Thursday 5k in the bag before work. Now running at a steady 5.5mph 💪🏻

5k treadmill run on Saturday & another today. Slightly faster as I run at a quicker place for longer but then slow it down when I need to without walking. I’m finding a book great to listen to and counting keeps my mind occupied!! #treadmill#progress#healthierme#running

Reading Atomic Habits by James Clear, interesting about the mindset. “The goal is not to run a marathon, it’s to become a runner.” Change the process to get the outcome. Build the positive habit change. What small changes can I make that will make a difference #change#habit
Sometimes it’s a small act for one that is a huge personal step. I’m a run walk run person. Slowly learning to run slower and keep going. Now up to 5k. Tonight I messaged a friend “fancy a slow run?” That’s huge! Yikes, what have I done, pace, new place to run …. Yikes!
Meal planning done, food shop done. Basa was half the price of haddock. Hoping it will work in fish cakes 🤞🏻 now to clean the house in time to get a workout and dog walk done!
With so much mixed advice around how do we know what to follow? I’m a low carb, fasting fan but is that the best way forward. I’m also a Bodycoach (Joe Wicks) fan. But … what’s right and where best to research for myself?! All advice gratefully received. #nutrition#eatwell
Son started work at 0630 so a quick workout before work. Absolutely buzzing! Slightly rosey glow but could be worse and that’s the workout done, no worry over cramming it in later! #healthierme

The first very slow walk/run for a while on Saturday. 6.5k in the bag and felt better for it. Sunday was a 32 mile cycle (e-bike). Back on it. While doms is hitting I’ve loved it!!
I’ve let the healthy eating & exercise slip over Christmas. Work has been relentless & it’s been too much to juggle. Cancelled plans for this evening so used the time to get a workout in. It was hard, but it feels good. Not sure I’m “back on it” but first step! #healthierme
