@CoderPW@sksk_sinker@robprogressive Add on student finance at 9%, another 6% if you did a masters too, oh and your student loan interest will be higher because you earn more, you'll only just pay it off...
@RupertLowe10 Can you remind him (and the house) that they are elected as servants, to serve the people, not control them?
And stop wasting money on things we didn't vote for (digital ID), then ask for more tax. If you hired a builder for an extension & he built it next door he'd be fired..
@MackinnonDonald@The_East_End yeah just plug in and change the mileage, takes 30 secs, valid use is for an ECU swap. on older cars you could just disconnect the cable from the dash and it wouldn't update (on my 70s car the cable falls out randomly and the Speedo stops working too π)
@louise_brierly@73tonilou@MartinSLewis I'm in a rented end of terrace with no cavity insulation, expecting my December bill to be around Β£400, nothing is set above 18 degrees, combi boiler is only a few years old too
@AndyFRESHMODE@Ric_Mc_@MartinSLewis The p/kwh is regional, so even within the same cap, the p/kwh changes. Electric is slightly cheaper per kwh in the Midlands & London than it is in Wales and the South West
@Hangover_Square@rattla1975@Lauuurj@MartinSLewis The profits are only for oil/gas producers such as shell, centric and BP. British gas, octopus, eon etc all pay stupidly high wholesale costs and probably don't have ridiculous profits. Its not our energy suppliers making millions out of this.
@ngriffin_uk@DarthRydar@RussInCheshire @marcusbrig Until recently, Netflix was cheaper than a TV licence too!
The advice for unplugging phone chargers to save maybe Β£5 a year in electric annoys me, because Β£5 makes such a big difference when your bill is Β£4200 per year
@ddrysdale99 @Paul_Ilett @EmmaKennedy Scottish Power quoted me Β£900 per month for a fixed tarrif based on my meter readings (I currently pay Β£150), won't be using them
