We are your health and social care champion in Wakefield District.
From Airedale to South Kirkby, Overton to Knottingley, and everywhere in between, we make sure health and care decision makers hear your voice and use your feedback to improve care.
The resident doctors' strike that was due to start on Monday has now been called off.
Please continue to attend any appointments as planned and access NHS services as normal if you need them.
Strike action starts from 7am Monday 15 June and runs until 7am Friday 19 June. Some NHS services will be affected.
You will be contacted if your appointment needs to be changed.
Please continue to come forward for the care you need
It's Carers Week.

We value you. Talk to us if you need advice, support, or signposting to health and care services and/or help.

Carers Week is made possible through Carers UK working together with six other major charities: @ageuk, @CarersTrust, @lbsorg, @MEAssociation, @mndassoc, @Rethink_
Our volunteers give so much to our organisation, without them we wouldn’t be able to do what we do. Thank you to our current volunteers and all those who have made a difference over the last 13 years. #VolunteersWeek
