I’m thinking about Colin sitting in the back of my car during a recent stakeout as we chatted about the loss of our friend Mick O’Neill.
I could never have imagined we’d lose him in the same way. A gentleman and a true professional.
Colin Keegan RIP.

I am the GRA representative referred to in yesterday’s statement. I welcome the withdrawal of the potential misconduct allegation, but I am bitterly disappointed that An Garda Síochána pursued it in the first place.
I have spoken on many issues affecting members in the past.
Elected representatives must be able to speak for members without fear that doing so will lead to misconduct proceedings.
I will not be making any further comment on the matter.
