Massive congrats to @CristinaPolica4 who led this study magnificently over many years. An epic tour de force and a wonderful colleague👏👏
Huge shout out also to co-authors @munafomarzia@SteliosTsagkris#ValentinaCarlini, and all lab members who made this happen🙏
2nd work from my PhD is out!🤩Mammalian Ogt (enzyme of reversible intracellular glycosylation aka O-GlcNAc) is an X-linked essential gene. We use a complementary approach to the direct removal of O-GlcNAc (the other paper) to study the role of this PTM in embryos: 1/9🧵
Our one and only @HauthAntonia defended her PhD this week: Congratulations Dr. Hauth 🥳🤩🥳🤩
First PhD of the Heard lab @embl - we are all very proud of you 👏👏👏
