Lincoln Square has a brand new Giddings Plaza! CDOT finished replacing all the pavers – right on time for Apple Fest last weekend. This was funded through our 2023 and 2024 "Menu" funds with the goal of removing tripping hazards for future generations to enjoy Giddings Plaza!

I was thrilled to join Park District Commissioner Escareño, the Welles Park community, and Rep. Williams to inaugurate brand new pickleball courts at Welles Park, as well as rehabbed horseshoe and volleyball!

Thanks to @ChicagoDOT for replacing decorative street lights in Lincoln Square! Our neighborhood's lights now has new light bulbs, new poles, and new wiring for years of safe and pleasant lighting on Lincoln Ave. They fit well with our new trash cans!
